Welcome to Mount Merrion Medical Centre. Please phone reception to make an appointment. Although we are on the 1st floor, accessibility is not a problem as we have a lift. It is also convenient for many patients that we have a Physiotherapy service and Practice Nurse all on the first floor. Free on-street parking is available.
St Vincent's Laboratory Delays
Due to delays in testing and processing blood samples in St Vincent's Hospital, we are only in a position to offer essential blood testing. We have been advised that normal service will resume from January 3rd. If your blood test is routine and can wait until January, we kindly ask that you book in then. If you are unsure if your blood testing us urgent, please ask reception who will check with the doctor.
Flu Vaccines
We are currently open to appointments for the adapted covid vaccine for eligible patients.
We are also booking appointments for both children (nasal) and adults flu vaccine. See https://www2.hse.ie/conditions/flu/flu-vaccine/ for eligibility criteria. As with other years, we closely watch the Southern Hemisphere for patterns in seasonal flu and as such, the HSE have noted children and young adults as being particularly susceptible.
If you do not receive a call or a text regarding booking your vaccine appointment, please contact us on 012881297.

Prescription Request
Please use the link to send us a full list of required medications, dose and duration. All prescriptions are usually ready 2 working days after the request is received. Prescriptions are now submitted electronically to your pharmacy so please ensure to include the name and location of your pharmacy. There will be occasions where the doctor feels that in fact you need a review of medication/conditions before issuing a repeat prescription. This is for your safety and also at times can be to comply with tight prescribing legislation
